Moka (Hangul: 모카; Hiragana: もか) is a Japanese idol and artist under BELIFT LAB. She is the third oldest member of the girl group, ILLIT, which was formed through the survival show, R U Next?, where she placed fifth in the finale, becoming a member of the group.
She made her official debut with the group and their first mini album, SUPER REAL ME, on March 25, 2024, with the title track, "Magnetic".

Early life[]
Moka was born as Sakai Moka on October 8, 2004 in Fukuoka, Japan. She is the eldest of two daughters.
Moka was a member of a dance crew in Japan and would perform covers of various K-POP songs.
She became a trainee under HYBE Labels Japan in 2020 and later joined BELIFT LAB to participate in R U Next?
2023-present: R U Next? & Debut with ILLIT[]
Moka was announced as a contestant on Belift Lab's show R U Next? On June 16, 2023. She became a member of ILLIT after ranking 5th.
The group made their debut on March 25, 2024, with their mini album Super Real Me.
